🌟 Manatee Softball Little League All-Star Program 🌟

The All-Star Program at Manatee Softball Little League is an opportunity for selected players to represent our league in postseason tournament competition. Participation is a privilege and an honor, recognizing players who demonstrate advanced skill, strong work ethic, sportsmanship, and a commitment to team values.

Our goal is to select teams that will proudly represent Manatee Softball while competing at the highest level possible and advancing as far as tournament play allows.

🥎 What is All-Stars?

All-Stars is a competitive postseason program designed for players who are ready for high-level tournament play. Teams compete against other leagues locally, district-wide, and potentially at the state and national levels depending on advancement.

This program is:

• Competitive

• Commitment-driven

• Team-first focused

• Built on sportsmanship and League values

Roster spots are limited and team needs vary each season.

📋 Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for All-Star consideration:

• Player and family must be in good standing with Manatee Softball Little League

• Player must meet all Little League eligibility requirements

• Player must attend the mandatory All-Star tryout (no make-ups or exceptions)

• Family must commit to the full All-Star season schedule

Attendance at tryouts is required to be considered for team selection.

⏳ Time Commitment

The All-Star season typically runs from late May through August, depending on how far the team advances in tournament play.

Players must be available for:

• Regular practices (multiple times per week)

• Tournament games

• Travel, which may include out-of-district and out-of-state locations

This is a significant commitment for both players and families.

👩‍🏫 Coaching Selection

Head Coaches are selected by the League Board. Once approved, the Head Coach may nominate Assistant Coaches, who are also subject to Board approval. All coaches must be in good standing and commit fully to the All-Star season.
